Wednesday Whale Love

This wood-burned key rack would be perfect in my entry way:

I love this dream catcher. I’ve been having some really weird dreams lately and I’m sure it would help me sleep soundly!

This “anatomical” whale is so neat! I don’t know where I’d put it but I know I want it for my apartment.

I hope everyone is having a great week so far!

Wednesday Whale Love: Decorative Boxes

I have a lot of trinkets and knickknacks, and that includes an affinity for small and fun boxes. Great to decorate with and to hide things in! I found these beauts and I want every single one of them.

Find any neat whale-themed items while trolling the Internet? Let me know! And have a great week, everyone!

Wednesday Whale Love: Letter Opener!

I rescued a letter opener from my Grandpa’s house a few years back and it is, by far, one of the most used things in my desk organizer. I open letters with it, scratch my back, use it to push out corners for zipper pouches, pretend it’s a sword, tap things with it for no real reason, and so on. I’m not looking to replace it because I love it, but if I didn’t have it I would want one of these for sure.

Wednesday Whale Love!

I know I’ve been absent for a while and I was working on this elaborate post where I explained myself but then I was just kind of like, “Uhm, nah……” (Although it is saved in drafts so maybe it will make an appearance in the future.)

The holidays are just around the corner and you might need an idea or two for that special whale-lover in your life. My go-to for all things gifts is always Modcloth. Always. I spent 3 hours on my phone last night browsing gifts. And I finished my shopping weeks ago. But this whale whisk is a great idea for any chef! Quirky kitchen gadgets are always a hit.

For the clean-freak in your life, this adorable nail brush will brighten up their bathroom & their finger nails.

And perhaps the item I have been coveting most since I moved into my apartment, the Whale Welcome Mat.

The perfect mat for the perfect home.

I hope everyone’s Wednesday is warm and dry! We’ve gone some kind of rain/snow mix happening outside right now and the view from my window is about as close as I’m willing to get to it :)

As if I didn’t think ModCloth was great enough, they have to go and stock these amazing shoes!

I’m literally drooling over here, guys. I’ll be keeping a close eye on these babies- I can only hope they go on sale before they sell out.

I would love to hang this on my wall:

I have a lot of slanted walls, so space is a little limited. But for this print? I would make it work.

And I think this little carpet is the only thing missing from my bathroom collection:

I already have the toothbrush holder and the shower curtain. Plus, I could really use a little rug for in front of the sink :)

Happy Wednesday, everyone!  Hope you all have a great week!

Wednesday Whale Love!

I thought office supplies would be a good subject for today, tying into Sunday’s tape dispenser want list ;)

I don’t know how this gem alluded my search! It looks like it could be a high school Plastics class project, but I think it is absolutely darling.

I already have 3 staplers for home and 2 for work, but none of them are whales. Obvi, I need one.

I found this one on the Japanese version of Amazon. I have no idea what the currency conversion is, but that doesn’t mean I’m not in love. Look at those little eyes! He looks like he’s smiling at you, ahaha.

Have a great week, everyone!

Another Wednesday Whale love!

Ever since I got those awesome towels for my birthday, I’ve had my eye out for more whale towels. I’m especially keen on these dish towels from Zen Threads:

(I’m pretty sure my friends got me a t-shirt from them for Christmas!)

Not that I’m in the market to buy any more fabric right now (since I have two overflowing bins), but this Maritime Moby is at the top of my must-have list.

Something about grays and yellows together always catch my eye. Also, the whales! Aha.

Pretty soon I’ll start looking for a new sweatshirt. I have a half dozen plain pull overs that I love, but it looks like H&M has stopped carrying them! Since mine are wearing out I have to start planning for the fall. I kind of like this one:

But I’m not sure if it’s too cutesie or if it’s too long. Or too expensive. I try not to spend more than $20 on a sweatshirt because I know I’m just going to destroy it, and this is almost double! I guess I have plenty of time to figure it out, but I know it’ll be cold again in no time!

Hope you’re having a fab Wednesday and that your week isn’t dragging on!
