I have a Potato

This was my potato as a baby. He was the last one left in his bag and started to sprout. I’d never seen a potato eye get that big before and decided that science should step in. My boyfriend named him Curly Jefferson (skip to about 5 minutes in here in case that doesn’t make sense) and he lives on top of the candy jar.

Look at him now! He’s about 5 months old and growing like a weed.

I guess I’ll eventually have to plant him. Maybe in a giant pot and he can live next to the recycling bin or in the living room. Ideally he would live outside but I don’t have a garden here and also all my past experiences with growing veggies has led to a bunny feast and little plant stubs left for me. It should come as no surprise then that I don’t trust my plants to the elements. But I’m so excited to see how big he gets!
