Pen Pals with the President

Last Tuesday, I shared the letter I sent to The White House in October. I didn’t expect to hear anything back, even though my friend, Ryan, over at One More Thing said I would probably hear back in 7ish months. But wait, what’s that?

That’s right, I got a letter back!

LetterFromPresident

Yeah, the signature it printed on. But I like that the letter made mention of the Government shutdown, which is what I wrote about. And that the shutdown ended “because Democrats and responsible Republicans came together.” Responsible Republicans. Hilarious.

I read it aloud in the style of Jay Pharoah preforming in the style of Barack Obama. Nailed it.

J/K, if I really nailed it I would make a video and share it with you. Maybe I should anyway? Should I branch into videos this year? Maybe just keep on track with blogging for a bit, and see where that goes? Pick achievable goals, Kerry! C’mon!

But, did the response letter arrive in the pre-addressed and pre-stamped envelope for easy replying that you sent?
