Half yard project

A few weeks ago, I found this super cute fabric at JoAnn’s and, obviosuly, had to have it.  Then I realized it was satin, not cotton, and thought, ‘Uhm, maybe not so much.”

But then I said, maybe I should try working with different materials? I could save it for a special project!

But I keep saving fabric for “special projects” and they just sit around. “Not anymore!” I said. “I’m going to see how many different bags I can make with this half of a yard!”

So, in the end, it turned into a special project aha.

Using a correspondingly-sized piece of interfacing, I traced out 6 bags!

And then I got to work. Here are the finished products:

They’re already listed in my shop :)

Do you save craft supplies for “special projects?”

It’s amazing how many bags you made. You have inspired me to take up the half yard challenge!
