The phone incident.

I’m not allowed to answer the phone at home. There were too many incidents where I answered an unknown number, thinking I was going to have some fun with a telemarketer only to find it was someone my parents didn’t want to talk to. Oops.  Consequently, I ignore the phone completely.

But if it sounds like someone might have left a message, I try to remember to tell my parents . Which brings us to this story:

I really can’t feel bad. Partially because I’m not allowed to answer the phone. And partially because about 5 months ago this happened:
