Tragic labels :)

My Gram wanted to give my cousin’s little girl a purse for Christmas and asked if I would make one for her. Obviously, I said yes.

Up to this point, I’d thought about ordering labels but never really looked into it. I remembered that my Gram is kind of old, and might forget to mention where the purse came from. Even though it was small and simple, I was still proud of it and wanted people to know that I made it!

And so my label search began! I settled on “It’s Mine” because they were reasonably priced and while I couldn’t put my own image on the labels, I could pick one and they had a whale. And when I read that it would take 3-4 weeks to get them, I honestly thought it was a joke.

Wrong! It took about two months and I ended up forgetting about them. I think the holidays may have played a part in the delay. Anyway, I have them now!

I  put them in a candy tin near my desk so they’d be close and ready to use.

I’m so excited about these! I only wish the whale had Xs for eyes.
