Panda, the destroyer.

We had especially bad weather today. Lots of rain and lots of thunder. And this little guy:

hates thunder. When we’re home it’s not that bad. Panda will jump in our laps, hide under my desk, hide behind my mom’s printer. But when he’s home alone, it’s a different story.

This is what my mom found when she came home today:

He had a rough day.

Time for more funny situations starring Panda?

Yes!

My parents are going away, and you know what that means…

I need some new ideas for where to put Panda!

He’s already been in most of the larger appliances and occasionally naps under the ottoman, but if you have any other ideas I’d love to hear them and hopefully I can make them happen!

A napping Panda

Took me a while to hunt down Panda last night. I finally found him:

places I find Panda

Sometimes I find Panda in strange places or doing strange things around the house. I wish I knew what he was thinking.

Here he is hanging out under my desk. He likes to sit under there when I’m working. And when I’m not home.

I don’t know if you can tell, but he’s hugging the pillow here. Shortly after I snapped this he fell asleep. He looked like a little kid clinging to a beloved toy. Or a beloved pillow, aha.

I think he likes to sit on top of this chair because he can 1) see out the window and 2) it gets a lot of sunlight and is warm.

But one time he fell off backwards and hurt his back. He couldn’t move for several days so we try to keep him off of the chair back.

He’ll sit in the doorway of my brother’s room and stare at a corner of the ceiling. He’ll sit on the shower mat while someone’s in the tub. Sometimes he hides under the foot stool with only his nose sticking out!

What sorts of funny things do your pets do?

Funny Situations starring Panda, part 2

Yes, you’ve guessed it! My parents went on a mini vacation and left some very specific instructions for my brother. “Bob isn’t allowed to have people over. And Kerry isn’t allowed to put the dog in any appliances.” Then my brother posted that on facebook and two things happened:

1) I remembered (because I had actually forgotten!) that I was planning another “Funny Situations” for this very week!

and 2) I thought of some new places to put Panda.

Like in the new cabinet in the bathroom:

And in the oven:

And in the microwave:

(Side note, how cute is that sweater?!)

You might think I’m cruel, but I got him that sweater for Christmas! And I was the only one in the whole family to get him any gifts at all.

And I paid him handsomely for his cooperation in this photo shoot with cheese and dog biscuits.

This is where he asked me to please stop putting him in scary places:

“No, Kerry! Stop it! Just stop!” is what I imagine him to be thinking.

Panda wasn’t hurt before, during, or after these pictures were taken. For the record.
