We had a bunch of goldfish in a tank and one of them started bullying the others and nipping at their fins, so we put the bully fish in a Mason jar by itself, right next to the tank where it could see the other fish playing nicely together. After being in exile for about a week, we introduced the bully fish and it was actually nice to the other fish after that. It’s worth a try, to at least let Max have his own space for a while.
