The case of the wrong name!
Usually when I think someone is being rude or creepy, I ignore it. But in this case, I wasn’t even helping this guy! He was 1) at another counter, 2) interrupting the work-related conversation I was having with my own customer, and 3) a super creep.
I don’t even think a person could actually misread Kerry as Mary. Some people really suck.
A lot of times my name tag gets turned around and you can only see the “RY” part of it, or the “K” so I’ve been called some interesting names, aha. I was put off by his familiarity, as if we knew each other and I was being rude to him. Pfft.
