My friend Megan over at Happy Ears gave me a cookie recipe jar for Christmas, and we finally got around to making them!
I was really excited.
There’s my assistant, looking sad because the cookies had chocolate chips in them. Or, as we like to call them, dog poison.
Jar cookies are the BEST because you usually just have to mix together some butter, an egg, and some vanilla,
then dump in the jar,
and cook!
So easy!
About ten minutes later, all the cookies are done!
It’s like magic!
You might notice newspaper on the counter. My mom has me cover every surface I’m working on with newspaper because she doesn’t think I’m capable of cleaning up after myself properly. You know, like a small child! Or a pet!
